Peter Schüller

Studied classical Trombone under Mr. Hans Szymajtys and Mr. Harry Ries (Principal Trombonist West German Radio Orchestra), Composition and Arrangement under Prof. Wolfgang Breuer at the Acadamy for Music in Cologne / Aachen and absolved his studies with the highest possible grades.

He undertook private Jazz Trombone lessons with Dave Horler (Lead Trombonist Cologne Radio Big Band) and Arrangement lessons with Prof. Wieland Reissmann (Acadamy for Music in Weimar).

Even at the age of 19 Peter Schüller played in the “Glenn Miller Orchestra Europe” with Wil Salden. Within in the next 4 Years the Orchestra played up to 150 Concerts per anum. During this years he gathered so much worthful experience and also contact with well known musicians.

Today he is Lead-Trombonist in the RWE Orchestra in Cologne and also works as a studio musician, Arranger and Composer in Germany and Benelux.

The highest point in his musical life to date are the private studies with Mr. SAMMY NESTICO, which has resulted into a fantastic friendship.

During his stay in California (USA) he also met well known studio musicians in L.A. such as Dick Nash, Bill Reichenbach, Pete Christlieb, Charlie Loper and QUINCY JONES.
