Juri Briat

Juri Briat (Hombeek, 1969) studied at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven where he graduated with first prizes in trumpet, musical notation, transposition, chamber music and a teaching degree.
After these studies, he studied brass band management at the Brabant Conservatory in Tilburg (Netherlands) under Jan Cober, Jan Van Ossenbruggen and Kees Schoonenbeek.
Aside from his teaching activities, Juri is a very popular conductor.
He is also a regular jury member at many festivals and competitions.
He is co-founder and general editor of BERIATO Music. |
